Taman Dukuh
An organic farm cooking school in Ubud had a slow WordPress site the owners could not edit themselves. We rebuilt it on Laravel and React with a CMS they run on their own.

The brief
Taman Dukuh runs cooking classes on an organic farm in Ubud. Their WordPress site was slow, leaned on a stack of plugins, and every change to a class or a price meant calling someone.
They wanted a site they could update themselves, that loads quickly for travellers on a phone, and that makes booking a class the obvious next step.
Before: WordPress
Plugin-heavy and slow to load. The owner had to call someone to change a price.
After: Laravel + React
A custom build with a custom CMS. Every class page is structured for search.
Mobile first
Travellers book from their phones, so every page was designed on a phone screen first and then scaled up, from the class list to the booking button.
